Continental Youth Championships

About the CYC

The Continental Youth Championship (CYC) is an annual weekend tournament of gaelic football and hurling organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. It is contested by teams from the USA and Canada, and is a separate competition from the existing youth championships in the New York, Canadian, and NACB areas. It began in 2004, and its location rotates around various cities from year to year. The age of players ranges from from Under 8 to Under 18.

2010 CYC Tournament

The 2010 CYC Tournament will be held at Eisenhower Park located in Nassau County New York, www.nassaucountyny.gov

The tournament dates will be Thursday July 29, 30, 31 & August 1st.

CYC San Francisco 2009

Thursday July 30th through Sunday August 2nd

The Irish Football Youth League of San Francisco (IFYL) and North American County Board (NACB) is proud to announce it will play host to the 2009 Continental Youth Championships from July 30th through August 2nd at the new playing fields on Treasure Island, San Francisco Bay. The tournament style Championships will bring 1,500 elite players from across the nation, plus teams from Canada and England to the Bay Area area to compete in Gaelic Games.

CYC Philadelphia 2008

Philadelphia will host the Continental Youth Championships games on 25th, 26th, 27th of July 2008. Find out more.
